A |     Damascus, Oct 13 (UNI) Eighteen soldiers were killed and 27 others injured in an explosion on a military bus on the outskirts of the Syrian capital early on Thursday, Syria's state news agency SANA reported.
The explosion was caused by a device that had been previously affixed under the bus, said the report, citing a military source.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

Hyde-Smith has represented Mississippi in the U.S. Senate since 2018. “The Senator and her family were not harmed," Hyde-Smith’s office said in a statement Monday.
